Ashelitha Samson was elected Secretary (Secretarial Assistant) at the Founding Meeting of the South African Business Party held at Somerset West on 8 November 2005.

	Lita works as an Accounting and Administration Consultant. She was educated and trained in the Western Cape. Her strengths are office procedures, accounting and tax. Lita is analytical, neat and methodical. She is responsible for managing the tax and accounting aspects of hundreds of clients, including Year-Ends. Lita's work also involves assisting many people daily to register Close Corporations to use in starting new businesses and in incorporating existing and running enterprises. She uses a 24-hour online link to the Registrar of Companies to accomplish her various statutory tasks. Lita handles the secretarial aspects of the SABP, including contributing to policy formulation.
